It’s fish fry season in northern Wisconsin (when isn’t it, really?), so we took to our Facebook page to ask our fans where they get their fish fry fix. Here are three top picks:

Al-Gen Dinner Club, Rhinelander. The Al-Gen is a classic Northwoods supper club. On Fridays, patrons can enjoy the all-you-can-eat fish fry, poor man’s lobster or baby walleye.

Mackz Hideaway, Lake Tomahawk. This local favorite in Lake Tomahawk sits on the shores of the Rainbow Flowage in Oneida County and offers diners delicious fried haddock on Friday nights.

Black Forest Pub & Grille, Three Lakes. This restaurant is an institution, serving diners for more than 80 years.
