Day 2

Early Morning Appointment with Some Fish

Oneida County is home to hundreds of the best fishing lakes in the Midwest. Fish for northern pike, crappie, musky, smallmouth and largemouth bass and walleye. To make the most of your time on the water, hire a fishing guide who can show you how and where to fish.

Lunch Like the Locals

After working up a big appetite on the water, it’s time for lunch. Hit one of Oneida County’s grills or brew pubs.

Afternoon Options

In addition to spectacular fishing lakes, Oneida County also offers hundreds of thousands of acres of public land open for hunting. If it’s fall, grab your shotgun and head to the woods for world-class grouse hunting. Or, if it’s not grouse season, go bald eagle watching—Oneida County is home to a large population of these majestic birds. Most big lakes and flowages have at least one eagle nest.

Supper Club Heaven

Oneida County is home to a number of outstanding supper clubs, all offering great drinks, tasty food and good company. The dinner choices include steak, seafood and other house specialties that are sure to fill you up.

Relaxing Evening

Kick back and enjoy live music at one of Oneida County’s bars. Or, if you’re not in the mood for music, go bowling or catch a movie. It’s easy to relax in Oneida County.

Day 3

Pack Up for Your Drive Home

It’s hard to leave such a relaxing place as Oneida County. Pack up your gear, then head to town for a big breakfast and souvenir shopping before driving home with all your happy Oneida County memories.
