Northwoods Wildlife Center

Bring the whole family! Free tours available Mon – Sat 10am -4pm every half an hour in summer months and 10am – 2pm Monday through Friday, or by appointment! Learn about your wild neighbors! The Northwoods Wildlife Center cares for injured and orphaned wild animals and strives to get them back into the wild. Tour consists of several resident animals who have been injured and cannot be released. You will see a Bald Eagle, Red Tailed Hawk, Owls, Turtles, a Turkey Vulture and more. Check our website for upcoming programs and events! Wildlife and Nature programs happen Tues-Thurs throughout the summer. Learn about birds of Prey, learn about turtles…the possibilities are endless! Help us help the animals! Every dollar you donate helps us continue to aid the wild animals of the Northwoods. The Northwoods Wildlife Center is run entirely on donations, it is not funded in any way by the government. If you find an injured or orphaned animal please call us first and our wildlife rehabilitators will work with you to determine the best way to assist the animal.
