This year we held the first ever Taste of Oneida County Restaurant week. We are looking for feedback from area restaurants to help us plan for 2020’s event!
Our goal for the event was to bring attention to the incredible restaurants in our area during a time of year that is slow for our businesses. Based on these goals, we were able to apply for a Wisconsin Department of Tourism Joint Effort Marketing grant to help promote the event. Through grant funding, we were able to reach markets throughout Wisconsin and the U.P. with radio advertising along with our e-newsletters, social media, TV appearances and promotions. This funding also helped us put on this event at no cost to the participating restaurants!
We are hopeful to build on the awareness we were able to gain through our first-time event to apply for a second grant in 2020. To receive additional funding to promote restaurant week, we need your feedback. Please respond by Friday, January 17. Thank you for your time!
