Three Coins Restaurant, Rhinelander
In the heart of Hodag Country, you’ll find Holiday Acres Resort, an all-seasons lakeside resort that’s been welcoming visitors for more than 60 years. If you’re basing your Oneida County snowmobile adventure out of Rhinelander, swing by Three Coins Restaurant, which is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday and breakfast on Sunday mornings. Holiday Acres offers easy access to the other trails maintained by the Hodag Sno Trails via Trail #17.
Hazelhurst Pub, Hazelhurst
Just a quick ride south from Minocqua, Hazelhurst is a great place to ride Oneida County’s trails, which connect to Nokomis and Rhinelander to the south and Lake Tomahawk to the east. The Hazelhurst Pub is conveniently located right along U.S. Highway 51 and is a great place to fill up after a day out in the snow—diners can choose from favorites like pizzas, burgers, and wings.
Tilted Loon Saloon, Nokomis
Nokomis is a small town southwest of Rhinelander along the Oneida County line, and it’s a great place to do some snowmobiling in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Whether you’re taking a short ride from Rhinelander or coming from a destination farther north like Minocqua or Hazelhurst, the Titled Loon Saloon is a great spot to stop for a winter warm-up. It’s open for lunch and dinner and serves up American classics and Northwoods favorites, featuring everything from a classic fish fry to burgers and wraps.
