Explore the Enterprise Trail System in Oneida County

Oneida County is home to some of the state’s best trails, so it’s hard to know which trail to explore first. Here’s a good place to start: The Enterprise Trails in Oneida County provide a great opportunity to explore northern Wisconsin’s rugged and beautiful terrain.  Whether you prefer to explore this area on foot, by bike or on an ATV, the Enterprise Trails won’t disappoint.

Here are some details on the trail system, located east of Rhinelander.

Hiking/Cross-country skiing

Here’s a map of silent sports trails. The trail requires a trail pass and include some hilly terrain. Dogs are allowed and in the winter these trails are open for snowshoeing and backcountry skiing. You can find the trails approximately 8 miles south of Hwy 8 on Cty Hwy G.

ATVing

The Enterprise ATV Trail includes 10 miles of trail located in the Oneida County Forest. The trail connects to the Langlade County trails to the south and the Lincoln County trails to the west. A campground and picnic shelter are located in the central part of the trail system. Restrooms and water are available at the campground.
