Northwood Golf Club, Rhinelander

This 18-hole municipal course opened in 1989 and quickly became one of the top places to play in the state. Surrounded by white pines, the course spreads out in rolling green waves. It’s a beautiful place to play—and it’s a great place to see some Oneida County wildlife to boot!

Pinewood Country Club, Harshaw

Another gem located just minutes from Rhinelander, Pinewood Country Club gives golfers great scenery and a wide range of challenges throughout spring, summer and early fall. Built in 1962, the 325-acre family-owned course is definitely one to try.

Timber Ridge Golf Club, Minocqua

Timber Ridge Golf Club’s par-72 championship layout provides an exciting challenge to golfers of every skill level. Long considered one of the top golfing experiences in northern Wisconsin, Timber Ridge also has a fully stocked pro shop, bar and restaurant, driving range and more.
