Three Lakes in northeastern Oneida County is a great place for a snowmobile adventure, as riders can connect with hundreds of miles of trails in Vilas County to the north and Forest County to the east. If you’re making Three Lakes your home base for your Northwoods snowmobile adventure, consider booking at Northernaire Resort on Deer Lake, which offers an array of lodging options, including cottages, cabins, and vacation homes.
Bootleggers Lodge, Nokomis
Situated on the eastern edge of Lake Nokomis in southern Oneida County, Bootleggers Lodge is a popular eatery and watering hole that also offers luxury lodging in their new guest suites, which opened in 2025. (The rooms can be rented individually or the entire facility can be rented out for up to 20 guests.)
