Explore scenic ATV/UTV trails in Oneida County

Oneida County is becoming a popular destination for ATV/UTV riders, and for good reason. You’ll find dozens miles of riding in southwestern Oneida County on trails that connect to Langlade and Lincoln counties in northern Wisconsin. The trails are open from May until December and can accommodate UTVs up to 65 inches in width. You’ll witness plenty of wonderful Northwoods scenery on the trails, which are located in the beautiful 82,000-acre Oneida County Forest. Here are some key details about the county’s two main trail systems.

Little Rice ATV/UTV Trail
Explore a scenic swath of the Oneida County Forest on this expansive system. The Little Rice ATV/UTV Trail System includes 20 miles of beautiful woodland trails and 16 miles of lightly trafficked connecting ATV road routes. There are also 76 additional miles of town roads that are open to ATV use. Parking is available at the north end of the system.

Enterprise ATV Trail
The Enterprise Trail includes 13 miles of trail and a couple of short road routes in the Oneida County Forest. The trailhead is located at the north end of the system. To reach the trailhead, take County Highway 17 south from Rhinelander 7 miles to Bowman Road. Take Bowman Road east 1 mile to the trail parking lot.
